The St. Thomas More Society will host the annual Red Mass and Awards Luncheon on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Join lawyers, clergy, judges, and other members of the legal community in celebrating a new judicial year with this very special event.
Due to continuing renovations at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, this year the Red Mass will again be held at the Cathedral of Christ the King at 2699 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30305. Mass will start at 10:00 am. This very special Mass features a judicial procession, spectacular music, and a special dedication to spiritual inspiration for lawyers and Judges.
The Awards Luncheon will be held at its usual location at the Downtown Capital City Club at 7 John Portman Boulevard starting at noon. This year we are excited to recognize to the following:
- The Honorable Rachelle Carnesale, Superior Court of Fulton County, for her tireless work in administering the My Journey Matters Accountability Court.
- Roland Behm, co-founder of the Georgia Mental Health Policy Partnership, for his visionary leadership in advocating for greater access to mental health care in Georgia.
- Vanessa Russell, Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Charities Atlanta, for her dedication to providing social services which serve and empower the most vulnerable among us.
Members of the Society who are current on their dues can attend the event for free. The cost for all other attendees is $50.
