On behalf of the Saint
Thomas More Society of Atlanta, it is my privilege and pleasure to extend this
invitation requesting your presence at the annual luncheon of the Society, which
will be held on the Feast of Saint Thomas More, June 22, 2009, beginning at
noon, at Alston & Bird (Check the firm name for directions.)
Phil Thompson, the Director
of the Aquinas Center of Theology at Emory University, will be our luncheon
speaker. Phil’s topic will be “Thomas
More, The Patron Saint of Integrity.” In
addition, members will be brought up to date on two ongoing projects of the
Society, i.e., the Red Mass (scheduled for September 10, 2009) and a potential
pro-bono project in conjunction with the Saint
Vincent de Paul
Society.
June 22nd also marks the
beginning of our annual dues obligation.
The luncheon is complimentary for members who satisfy their 2009/2010
dues ($50.00) at or before the luncheon.
For all others, there will be a charge of
$15.00.
